Welcome to Friends of Cayo Costa State Park
"Our mission is to preserve, protect and promote the unique unspoiled natural beauty and heritage of Cayo Costa State Park
for present and future generations."
Almost 400 sea turtle nests were documented on the beach at Cayo Costa State Park in 2020. To help us continue monitoring, marking nests and documenting sea turtle data, you can ADOPT-A-NEST for just $25. When you “adopt” a nest, your name will be listed as a donor, and you will be notified by email of the date the turtle eggs were laid. You will later receive a follow-up email notifying you when the nest hatched! To Adopt-A-Nest today – click here to pay $25 via Pay Pal.
